SH Open Studio All Abilities Art Therapy Program 4-9 years
Overview
Casey is an Art Therapist who believes creativity is one of the most powerful tools for understanding ourselves. She creates safe, supportive spaces where people can explore emotions, build confidence, and connect with their inner world through art-making.
Living with disabilities, being neurodivergent, and having navigated her own mental health journey from a young age, Casey draws on her lived experience to connect deeply with the people she supports. She holds space with no assumptions and no expectations for anyone to be anything other than themselves.
This Art Group will run as an open studio, encouraging expression in whatever form feels right for each person. For those who feel overwhelmed in larger groups, a sensory-friendly space will also be available, where participants are welcome to continue open art-making or choose from more structured creative options.
In all of Casey’s sessions, there is no right or wrong way to create. She encourages curiosity, playfulness, and gentle reflection, allowing everyone to work at their own pace. Her goal is to help each person feel seen, supported, and free to express themselves in the way that feels true for them.
