The SGSTG is holding our biennial meeting 22-24 November 2022 at King Island to discuss the latest research and developments in tectonics and structural geology.

The meeting aims to help geoscientist throughout Australia exchange ideas about their science. The fantastic coastal exposures and the diverse geology will be explored through 3 half day excursions. The meeting is constrained by accommodation and flight availability so will it be small (<60 people) and informal. To make sure that we maximise the number of people that can attend accommodation and flights have been pre-booked for 30 people and student participation is facilitated through a generous bursary.

We will also run a pre-conference field trip to southern Victoria if there is enough demand.
