Free Information Workshop - Subpoenas in criminal matters (NSW legislation)

This workshop is aimed at lawyers, support service workers, health professionals, sexual assault workers and counsellors who may be subject to or involved in responding to a subpoena in NSW to produce records which involve:

a) Records relating to (and professional notes about) people who have been the victim of a sexual assault; and/or

b) Confidential professional notes about people who have been the victim of a sexual assault.

In addition, the workshop will provide information in relation to options organisations have when presented with a subpoena.

This is a 3-hour workshop provided by the Sexual Assault Communications Privilege Team at Legal Aid NSW and hosted by Hume Riverina Community Legal Service. The workshop is FREE, but places will be limited, so please RSVP at your earliest opportunity.
