Description

Introduction to Sewing workshops are for the participant that has never used a sewing machine and wants to learn how.

In this 3 hour ‘Introduction to Sewing’ you will learn:

  • Sewing machine parts and their function
  • Tools you will need
  • Basic sewing terms
  • How to wind a bobbin and thread the machine
  • How to sew in a straight line and pivot around corners

Whether you want to sew your own clothing or sew for your family or friends, create your own homewares, make gifts for just make simple alterations, this workshop is the first step.

In this session you will come away with an item you made yourself and you’ll be rushing home to make more, all you need to do is book.
