Each week you will spend two and a half hours in the studio where you will:

- gain confidence in how to get the best from a sewing machine

- learn to make good fabric and pattern choices

- learn to read and use a basic commercial pattern

- learn basic garment construction techniques

- make a simple garment - a pair of pants (short or long) - they can be for you, your kids ... whoever! Think lounge wear, boxer shorts or pj's. Patterns and fabric requirements will be discussed at your first lesson.

- learn basic fitting techniques

You can bring your own sewing machine if you prefer, or learn on one of our lovely computerised machines. Our sewing studio boasts three spacious individual work stations, a large cutting table, two pressing stations, overlocking stations and time-out space for when you just need that refreshing cuppa.
