Sewing Boutique Camp for Kids – Tote bag with Applique and Hair Scrunchie!

What is boutique sewing kid’s camp? It is a well deserved Day off for parents during school holidays and hard but having fun learning to sew workday for kids 😊 Boutique Sewing camp runs from 9am till 3:30pm and takes only 4 people per group, so individual attention could be given to each kid. Bring your own lunch and morning fruits / snacks, just like for school. Tea and biscuits to share will be provided.

What will we make? We will design Eco friendly Tote bag with personalised applique and if time allows some cute scrunchie as a bonus. Kids will design their own applique using a variety of colourful cotton fabrics and threads all provided for this bootcamp!

Making Tote Bag will be covering:

- Applique design development

- Cutting fabric ready for sewing

- Threading and setting up sewing machine for beginners

- Basic Sewing machine stitching

- Fabric pressing and steaming

Variety of colours and prints cotton fabric and threads all provided for workshop! At the end of the day everyone will get a one-of-a-kind Tote bag and some scrunchie to take it home. On top of this kids will take home new and valuable skills of sewing and might start their new sewing hobby!

This camp designed for beginners who loves sewing or even never sewn before but wishes to learn and would like to dive into the magic world of handmade. Minimum age is 10 years old.

Boutique Sewing camp includes all material needed to complete Tote bag and scrunchies. Which includes variety of cotton fabrics to choose from, elastic tape, threads. Sewing machines and all tools to use are also provided.

6,5 hours Sewing camp in small group (max 4 participants). Get in early and your Early Bird tickets would be $185. Price for General Ticket $218 including all materials. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Minimum age for this camp is 10 yo.  

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Subiaco Train Station within walking distance. Plenty of parking around. Parking with 1st hour free just on parallel street behind our building on Rowland Street, or on the corner of Barker Rd and Rokeby Rd.

What can I bring into the event? 

Bottle of water. Morning snacks. Lunch. Just like for school :)

All material and tools required will be provided.
