SENSORY GARDEN DESIGN Re-design your own garden with Tamsin Scott
Sat. 12 November 2016, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm AEST
Discover how to transform your garden (or parts of it) into a personal space full of meaning that helps you connect more deeply with nature and spirit. This is a design workshop with a difference! It goes beyond the backyard blitz approach and other people’s garden ideas, or gardens merely as fashion. It is a hands on, practical and lively workshop that will get you in touch with your own needs and desires to create satisfying designs for a garden that stimulates all the senses. We offer accessible, professional guidance throughout the workshop that makes garden design easy and accessible to everyone. We will be exploring the five senses, the four elements, garden design principles and a guided visualisation to inform our creative session, when we manifest and draw up our beautiful new garden visions. You will be amazed at the results of this process and will go home with either a completed sketch and/or a clear idea of how to make your garden sing! Sensory Garden Design is suitable for anyone interested in turning their garden into a wonderful sensory place - no prior design skills are needed. Please bring plans of your garden if you have them and/or photographs (either printed or on your device). Presented by Tamsin Scott, Creative Partner of Green Edge Catalysts (www greenedgecatalysts.com.au).
