Pilates for 50+

About this Event

Sharon presents free Pilates for 10 people (COTA NT members) face to face and LIVE via Zoom for those at home during SENIORS MONTH.

Slow controlled movement to increase strength and balance.

Face to Face Attendance

If you are a member of COTA NT, you can join Sharon for a face to face class at Spillett House – please note we have a limited of 10 people allowed.

  • You must book via eventbrite before turning up to the class.
  • When making your booking, add your COTA NT membership  number after your name.
  • You must bring your eventbrite order confirmation and COTA NT membership card with you to the class (and present it at reception).
  • If you do not book prior to the class, you will not be permitted to stay.
  • First session in August is free, then for face to face attendees $5 for members, $7 for non-members thereafter

Zoom Attendance

Sharon is also presenting the class via Zoom to those at home. 

If you wish to attend via Zoom, you must phone Sharon on 0438 890 089. She will then send you a Zoom meeting link ID and password.

What to Wear / Bring with You

  • Loose and comfortable clothing suitable for exercise and supportive footwear.
  • You will need your own pen to sign in with, your own bottle of water and a small towel.

Before you attend

* check with your doctor first before starting any exercise program if you have any concerns regarding your fitness level, ability or skill or undertake this activity, you should seek the appropriate independent advice.

* before your first sessions, you must fill in a Pre-Exercise Screening form and raise any health concerns with the instructor

* register your attendance (which includes agreement to a voluntary assumption of risk: that you undertake the class at your own risk and acknowledge and voluntarily accept the level of risk consequent with that activity

* bring comfortable clothes and shoes, drink bottle and towel.
