The Seminars of the Future series are a set of seminars to help you take the next steps in your career. Seminars have been designed to be both timely and topical, with each seminar offering a different career development topic. Seminars involve a combination of discussion and hands-on activities. There will be ample opportunity to discuss each participant's unique career development needs.

The 2017 Seminars will draw on neuroscience to help you reinvent your self, your career trajectory and your career future. This year's Seminars will also draw on the power of the subconscious to help your reach your career goals.

The seminars are held over three consecutive Sundays.

On Sunday 12th November, you will learn:

  • About your career brain;
  • The triune brain, amygdala and more;
  • What the power of the subconscious has to offer your career; and
  • Implications for your career development.

On Sunday 19th November, you will learn:

  • How to rewire your career from the inside;
  • Your boss is not a hungry tiger;
  • It first happens in the mind, so if you think you can... and
  • How to make the novel work for you.

On Sunday 26th November, you will learn:

  • How to rewire your career from the outside;
  • whether you are showing your age; gender; religion; race; sexual preferences; or etc., and what to o about it;
  • How to rewire bossses, colleagues, stakeholders, clients and more; and
  • Five tips from neuroscience and the power of the subconscious mind to take charge of your career trajectory.

About the Presenter

Dr. Rachel Abramson, Ph.D. is an organisational, health and counselling psychologist. Dr. Abramson has been in private practice as a consultant, trainer, career counsellor and hypnotherapist for 23 years. Dr. Abramson completed her Ph.D. in behavioral finance, looking at the psychology of the share investor.

How do I get there if I am coming by public transport?

Look for tramstop 26, near the corner of Beatrice street or Moubray street, depending on whether you are heading towards or away from the CBD.

What can I bring into the event?

You will need to bring your printed ticket, a pen and notepad. We will supply tea and coffee as well as any other resources and handouts that you may need.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, you will need to bring your printed ticket or photo ID to the first seminar. It will facilitate the registration process.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, certainly. You will need to provide the transferee your printed ticket. They will need this ticket to register on the first day. You will also need to email rachela@ozemail.com.au to advise of the change of registrant details.
