We look forward to welcoming you to London on Wednesday 17th October for the next Sedex Stakeholder Forum meeting. This will be held at the America Square Conference Centre by Tower Bridge in London.

  • 09:30 – 10:00 Registration and Arrival

  • 10:00 - 10:45 Welcome and Introduction

Includes updates from SSF Chair, a refreshed look at the technology roadmap with product developments and a closer look at the audit quality programme including news on responsible sourcing changes.

  • 10:45 - 11:35 Self-Assessment Questionairre

How is the SAQ evolving and what impact will these changes have? An overview of the work this group have done on the tool, and how members are engaging and approaching products around pre-assessment.

  • 11:35 - 12:30 Breakout Session 1

    Sedex Analytics Demo - An opportunity to see our new interactive data reporting tool in action. A demo of the tool to be shown alongside predictive analytics.

    Products in Practice - A look at Sedex e-Learning, the Worker Wellbeing Assessment Tool and a launched Joint Remediation process. See how members are using product

  • 12:30 – 13:30 Lunch

  • 13:30 – 15:00 Breakout Session 2

Pre-Audit Activity - How can pre-assessment be further evolved to reduce a reliance on audits? A look at the wider picture of pre-assessment models, whilst evolving discussions from the SAQ into risk-assessment tools and data validation.

The future role of the audit - As we look to gather requirements and thinking around the next version of SMETA, we will investigate the role of audits and how they might look in years to come.

Continuous Improvement - How can suppliers become the leaders in their development and continuous improvement practices? What are members using themselves to address this issue and how is the market addressing this key area of improvement.

  • 15:30 - 16:45 Evolution of Working Groups

    How do working groups operate and what sort of work goes on within them? Sedex to introduce how we are developing our current set of groups into a core set of categories for which specific projects will sit under. Each group to present their theme, objectives as well as current and future projects. There will be an opportunity to move around and engage with the groups on the back of this presentation.

  • 17:00 – 19:00 Drinks and Networking

Please note: the UK User Group, Auditor Network Group and SSF Advisory Group will be meeting from 08:30-09:30am.

  • The UK User Group is an open group for any SSF member wishing to discuss auditing issues specifically related to the UK legislation and regional issues.

  • The Auditor Network Group is formed from auditors only discussing issues and making technical decisions around auditing SMETA.
