Event description

Description

There has been a fantastic response to the upcoming Annual Exhibition with some 60 artists submitting Sculptures. The works reflect the multicultural diversity of the membership of the Association, showing a vast array of talent and skill using a variety of materials.

The wonderful and vast Foyer of Bourke Place will be transformed into a fabulous Exhibition space with over 100 pieces of sculpture. The experiences, history and stories of the individual artists, with the subtle interplay of the visual language, expresses their ideas and values to the broader community, the nature of the space allows the ‘art’ to be easily seen and for the viewer to take the time to reflect on each piece.

With the Association having members that are Vietnamese,Polish, Iranian, Turkish, French, South African, and many more, the Victorian Sculptors Association truly reflects the multicultural nature of the Arts in Australia.

The Exhibition takes place, August 7-25
