Gallery 1855 Workshop - SCULPT A PORTRAIT IN CLAY

Using clay you will learn how to create a half life-size human head with ceramic sculptor, Judith Rolevink

You will learn basic clay sculpting techniques while looking at the bone structure and anatomy of the human head.

About the artist: Working from her studio in Tea Tree Gully, Judith has a degree in Ceramics and also trained as a sculptor. Her bronze sculpture of Mary Mackillop and Children, can be seen outside the Catholic Cathedral, Victoria Square and the bronze of cricketer George Griffin on the grounds of the Adelaide Oval.

When: 10:00am - 4:00 pm, Saturday 19 October 2019

Where: Gallery 1855 courtyard, 2 Haines Road Tea Tree Gully

Who: Beginners 16 years and over. No previous clay sculpting experience required.

Cost: $65 (most materials provided)
