Description

Need help with your masterpieces?

Join our free creative writing workshops with Gold Inky Award winner and author Will Kostakis during the July school holidays.

Editing essentials: Bring out your best

The biggest hurdle for writers is seeing what you've written, and thinking it isn't as good as other stories you've read. The secret to improving your writing is rewriting. Will Kostakis will lead the group through a practical editing exercise, sharing tips and tricks to bring the best out of your writing.

Age: Year 7 to year 12 students

Cost: Free (Only for participants who are eligible to enter the ScribbleInk Youth Literature Awards 2017)

Workshop location:

Hurstville Library 4 July 2017, 11am-1pm
Kogarah Library 4 July 2017, 2-4pm

Will Kostakis

Will Kostakis is an award-winning author, but his real claims to fame are a Twitter spat with Guy Sebastian, and that time a member of Destiny's Child said his name. The Sidekicks is his latest novel.

The workshops are part of ScribbleInk Youth Literature Awards 2017.
