About Emma Jensen
Emma Jensen is a screenwriter who has worked in the industry for over 16 years as a writer, development executive and script consultant. A graduate of Queensland College Of Art, Emma worked in the production/development department of UK company FilmFour before returning to Australia where she was employed as Development Executive for Working Title Australia and
Mushroom Pictures. In 2010 while based in Los Angeles, Emma co-wrote The LA Team with Sall Grover, which was optioned by Working Title, and their first screenplay Sex on the First Date sold to US production company Gold Circle.
Currently in post-production is Emma’s spec screenplay A Storm in the Stars, based on the true story of Mary Shelley and her journey to write “Frankenstein”. A Storm in the Stars is directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour (Wadjda), stars Elle Fanning (Maleficent), Douglas Booth (Noah) and Bel Powley (Diary Of A Teenage Girl), and is produced by Gidden Media and Parallel Films.
Emma also continues to work as a script consultant and assessor, and was recently part of Screen Australia’s “Gender Matters” task force.
About Stephen Lance
Stephen Lance is an award-winning director and writer of internationally renowned films, music videos and commercials.
My Mistress, Stephen’s debut feature film, premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival in 2014. The screenplay was selected for the No Borders market in New York and SPAAMart in 2011. Stephen wrote the acclaimed animation Dog With Electric Collar which opened the 2008 Sydney and Brisbane film festivals, as well as winning the AFI for Best Animation in 2008.
Stephen is currently writing a screenplay adaptation of the New York Times bestseller The Secret Lives of Dresses, a screenplay adaptation of a hit play, and an original television drama series pilot for Hoodlum.
About Cieron Cody
Cieron Cody’s experience in creative development and project management spans more than nine years across the film industry and community sector.
Cieron has developed and facilitated creative programs for government and NGO’s, addressing the commercial, socio-economic and creative needs of diverse communities and companies. Primarily Cieron is a production and development executive.
His experience includes traditional and new media screen content, such as games, factual, features, television and multi-platform – assisting the commercial viability of projects from a local to global scale.
As the VP Development for Screen Queensland, Cieron manages programs and initiatives designed to promote and cultivate the Queensland screen industry
