Harriet and Helena Scott produced an archive of more than 600 intricate and beautiful paintings and drawings of the butterflies and botany of New South Wales. Join us for an intimate, Behind-the-Scenes Scott Sisters Heritage Tour, and discover the ways their work was connected to the Australian Museum. Journey back in time to the nineteenth century, access the original residence of the Australian Museum’s early curators, take in rare items in the AM Library and see some of the Scott Sisters’ exquisite original illustrations.
Led by Australian Museum experts, this tour reveals hidden stories and places within the Museum and showcases rare elements of the Museum’s Scott Sisters’ collections.
