Meter Symposium 2
This symposium aims to encourage development of contemporary thought, knowledge and teaching on meter. Meter Symposium 2 follows on from the very successful student-led Meter Symposium held at the Conservatorium in June 2016. The first symposium was the major event of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Meter Study Group which formed in 2015 after a semester of Meter Theory classes by visiting lecturer, Professor Richard Cohn. We are delighted to have Professor Cohn return as our Keynote speaker for Meter Symposium 2.
