Looking for a postgraduate option in music?
Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s Graduate Studies Program is a vibrant community of scholars whose research is ranked ‘above world standard’. Our postgraduate degrees give you access to some of music’s leading thinkers, performers and writers, as well as access to a range of international and local scholars through our About Music lecture series and our About Music Education lecture series.
If you are looking to undertake postgraduate study in music then join us on Thursday 13 October at 5.00pm to find out about our range of coursework and research degrees in: Performance, Musicology and Ethnomusicology, Composition, Music Education, Jazz, Conducting and Opera Performance.
The evening will give you the opportunity to talk directly to course coordinators, academic staff and current students from our PG community. On the night you can ask questions about our entry requirements, application process, finance options, research opportunities and the support services available to you as a postgraduate student.

5.15pm – Presentations from Professor Anna Reid, Dean, Assoc Professor Kathleen Nelson, Director of Higher Degrees by Research, Dr Michael Webb, Ethnomusicologist and Chair of Music Education, Dr Paul Stanhope, Senior Lecturer in Composition, and current SCM postgraduate students
6.00pm – Drinks and opportunity to talk one-on-one to our staff and students
6.30pm – Join us for the Con Opera production of Mozart's Cosi fan tutte in the Music Workshop (complimentary tickets will be provided)
