Description

Join leading time-based media conservator Patricia Falcao (TATE) for a masterclass on digital media conservation. Learn about analysing and documenting time-based media art, assessing risk and defining preservation strategies, plus work in small teams to complete practical exercises and present results.

Patricia is responsible for new acquisitions of time-based media artworks in the TATE Collection including video, software-based, audio, film and performance works.

When: Friday 31 May, 9.30am–6pm
Where: The Grimwade Centre
A light lunch will be provided.

For Grimwade Centre students and alumni. Places are limited.

This workshop is FREE. The $20 ticket saves your place and will be given back to you during the masterclass. While we are unable to offer a refund, if you cannot attend the ticket may be transferred to another student.



This event will be the first in a new SC@M Masterclass series.
