We all need science to navigate our path in the face of predictable and unpredictable events in the years ahead. From managing the present pandemic to transitioning to renewable energy, science is critical to ensuring we live healthy, prosperous and secure lives.

The Australian Academy of Science’s annual symposium ‘Science and the Public Good’ will explore the value of science to everyone. Live from the Shine Dome in Canberra, eminent scientists will share their own work and the importance of broader disciplines.

Presenters from the Faculty of Science will be Professors Nalini Joshi, Thomas Maschmeyer and Geordie Williamson, as well as Prof John Rasko from the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
