SCHOOLS ENGAGEMENT DAY

MONDAY 4 NOVEMBER 2019

Exposing the footings of Templer’s Mill at Banjo Paterson Park.

School Groups are invited to participate in this program - best suited to Primary School years 5 and 6, or High School 7 to 10.

This is a live dig with uneven access which may be unsuitable for some. No experience is needed, all equipment will be provided. All participants will be required to sign an attendance sheet on the day.

What you need to bring on the day

CLOTHING

Anyone taking part in the dig must wear long comfortable pants, long sleeve shirt, enclosed comfortable footwear and broad brimmed hat.

FOOD

Depending on your session time, please bring along lunch, snacks including fruit and plenty of water.

NOTE

This task requires manual handling activities to be undertaken and requires a level of physical fitness. Any conditions that may prohibit you from undertaking these tasks should be discussed with the project manager.

Site induction for all participants

Sunscreen

Gloves

First Aid Station

Risk assessment
