Event description

Description

This event is provided to the Light community by the Light Regional Library Service:

Free coding sessions for children aged 8-13.

Bookings Essential!

Scratch is a computer language designed by MIT to get kids coding.

In one of our holiday sessions you will learn some basic Scratch coding techniques and build your own game!

Children will work on computers supplied by the library and may work in pairs depending on bookings.

All the sessions are the same so please only book into one. More sessions can be added if the existing sessions book out.

Following on from the success of our first Code Club at Kapunda Library we aim to launch a new Level 1 Code Club in Term 2 2018.

The club will run on Thursday afternoons from 3:30 - 4:30pm if there are enough children booked in. For more information please ask at the library or attend one of our Introduction sessions.
