About this event
Introduction to sewing
You will learn to sew from the very beginning with basic hand sewing techniques and graduate to practising on a sewing machine once you have mastered your hand sewing skills.
At the end of day one you will have sewn your own personalised cushion! Everything is supplied from sewing machines to fabric!
Lessons are run in my cool little studio in Elsternwick right near the train station.
The maximum number of students is five so each student will get personalised instructions and plenty of time to practise on the sewing machines supplied.
*The course is strictly for kids aged 10 and up as the children need to be able to follow instructions which can be a little complex sometimes. Also, they must have developed fine motor skills allowing them to be able to thread a needle independently, sew in straight lines and curves and also be able to reach the pedal of the sewing machine on the floor.
Price includes costs of all materials.
