Access Disability Services have initiated school holiday program for Special need individuals to support and entertain them during school holidays. Attenders must be between 7-16 years old, Moderate care needs (Terms and conditions apply). The program will be for six weeks and each day will have different activities that will be developed with consultation of occupational therapist and supervised by behaviour specialist and counsellor. The program will involve skill development, Program will concentrate on fine and gross motor skills and self-regulation. We aim to support the participants with their NDIS goals and independency to be able to achieve their goals in a short period of time and to become more independent. The program will be handled from participant’s NDIS plan through the budget of core support, this will be done in a group-based activities the ratio of 1:3.
