Learn about how newspapers are made and have a go at creating your own front page in this school holiday workshop

About this Event

Fancy making the front page? Learn how newspapers are made, use your creative writing skills and try your hand at some different printing techniques to create your own headlines. Experiment with transfers, stamps, collage and stencils and create your own front page featuring photographs taken 50 years ago for the Central Western Daily on display now in our exhibition All in a Day’s Work.

This workshop will be held in the Activity Space within Orange Regional Museum.

Suitable for kids aged 8+.

Requirements and Conditions

Bookings are essential and spaces are limited.

Please note that children and their work are sometimes photographed during our workshops. Images may be used for promotional purposes on Council's website, social media or publications. By attending the workshop, you are agreeing to these terms. If you would prefer that your child was not included in these photographs please let us know at the beginning of the workshop.
