Event description

Description

Tonight we’ll shine the light on one of Australia’s little understood mammals - Bats! Bats make up one fifth of all Australian mammals with over 100 species found in Australia. Join us for an introduction into the life of bat with bat expert Chris Grant. You will learn how to find bats, hear their calls and make your own bat art, puppets and bat nestboxes.

The night is for children of all ages - and their families that want to be involed in hands-on activities, crafts and citizen science.

Please bring: parent/guardian, torch, warm clothing and enclosed shoes.
