Roo Harris, Investment Manager
Roo joined the Scale team in capacity of Investment Manager in August of 2021.
Prior to Scale, Roo worked as an international corporate and commercial lawyer for over 15 years, with most of her career spent advising on Middle Eastern based deals, with a focus on hospitality, sports, education and CMT (Communications, Media and Technology).
Roo stumbled upon - and fell in love with - private equity and venture capital deal making during a nearly three-year stint, advising the private family office of a member of the ruling family of Qatar. She then began working independently with project founders to get them investment ready and support them in sourcing capital. She also qualified as a coach and began working with female executives looking to leave corporate jobs to pursue creative or start-up ventures.
