SBW Women's Online Hub - Combining Family, Wellbeing & a Start-up Career
Event Information
About this Event
This month Sourdough Business Women presents Yasmin Grigaliunas. Yasmin describes herself as a ‘multipotentialite’ who has an innate passion to give and help others. Having worn many career hats as well as having made her way around Australia on a ‘Family Gap Year’ while still working full-time, her more recent passion saw her leave her lucrative salary to commit full-time to the ‘World’s Biggest Garage Sale’, a venture that started in 2013 as a way of spring cleaning a cluttered home while raising money for cancer research.
WBGS is now a start-up/scale-up business, designing solutions to commercialise the circular economy through the activation of dormant goods using the principles of recycle, repurpose, reuse and re-commerce.
Yasmin is also a SheEO Activator and was one of SheEO’s first Australian Ventures. And it’s not all business. With two teenage girls, Yasmin is committed to a healthy, active lifestyle, having also become a 2x Ironman Endurance Race finisher, achieving a top-four age group result.
Join us and be inspired by Yas as she shares her experience in balancing family, a healthy, active lifestyle and a successful start-up career.
