Expert Panel:
Moderator: John Cutler, National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA)
John is President of NECA Victoria, a position he has held for 3 years. He is considered an expert in the provision of energy efficiency, renewable energy, battery storage, and solar hotwater, and in local government though serving as a councillor.
Tim Forcey, Energy Advisor to Melbourne University’s Energy Institute regularly speaks on energy efficiency and renewable energy, and his articles are published in the Conversation, ATA’s RenNew Magazine, and Renew Economy and Climate Spectator.
Ian Johnstone, Manager, EcoSmart Electricians, NECA, is an expert on training, energy efficiency, residential, commercial and industrial solar installations, industry standards and compliance.
Scott McKenry, Regional Coordinator for the 7 council initiative Eastern Alliance for Greenhouse Action (EAGA), which implements local and state government initiatives for renewables transition, emissions reduction and climate change adaptation.
Paul Murfitt, CEO Moreland Energy Foundation (MEFL). As well as consulting widely to local, state and federal government, authorities and business, MEFL works in research and community engagement on sustainable energy, energy efficiency and urban development, including the Cityof Moreland’s stand out Zero Carbon Evolution city wide emissions reduction program.
