Join us in celebrating the first-ever Satellite Slam, a celebration of our voice, our work, and our people.
Satellite Slam is the coming together of the core elements that make up Satellite Foundation and the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our small but growing organisation. MC'd by the inimitable Brad McEwan, the Satellite Slam aims to amplify the voices of young people and their supporters who live with and around family mental health challenges.
Peer connection, creativity and the power of the shared experience are central to all of Satellite's programs. The Slam will bring these elements together in a celebration of creativity through spoken word poetry, book readings, music and song, photography exhibitions and more!
Guests can expect to get a taste of some of the creative activities on offer in our programs through an array of interactive installations: photographic scavenger hunts, mindfulness exercises and arts and crafts.
