Scheme Tips and Perfecting your ROPE

ROPE is a compulsory part of the ARC application process. The score for ROPE usually contributes the largest portion of the selection criteria and final score of an ARC proposal: 35% for Discovery Projects and 40% for DECRAs.

Description: In this session, participants will learn how to:

  • target your application correctly using Key words and FOR codes
  • ensure that you are eligible to apply for a grant
  • present your track record in the best manner possible

Dates:

  • 12 January for Discovery Project applications (A session on 25 January may be available upon request if attendance at on the 12 January session is oversubscribed).
  • 24 January for DECRA applications

This workshop is part of the Streamlined Application Support Program (SASP), which aims to save time, reduce administrative uncertainty and improve application quality for UWA researchers applying for a 2019 ARC Discovery Project or DECRA.
