Sands Support Group - Mount Barker
Event Information
Description
sSupport Meetings are a safe and non judgemental place where you can share your precious baby with others who have had similar experiences and understand. Many parents feel that only other parents who have experienced the death of a baby can offer real understanding.
Support Meetings provide parents with the opportunity to share stories, thoughts and feelings. Parents who have experienced the death of a baby from conception through to early infancy, and those who may be subsequently pregnant, are all welcome to attend. Close relatives are also welcome, however children are not.
If you are attending a support meeting for the first time, we are sorry for your loss. Please know you are not alone. Our support groups are run by bereaved parents and are held regularly at different locations throughout the month.
Please note:
Sands SA asks that you repect our wishes of no children attend in consideration of newly bereaved parents.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Please also RSVP directly to ServicesSA@sands.org.au or 0477 014 775
