‘Same Different Me’ is a series of storytelling workshops by a collaboration between 'Story is Connection (SIC)' and 'City of Maribyrnong' Phoenix Youth Centre. The project is aimed at exploring the fluctuating sense of belonging and identity of international students through artistic and creative approaches.
Registrations for the first workshop are now open to international students looking to make friends, bond over shared experiences and connect with international student support services.
The rest of the workshops during the length of the project will serve as preparation for a performance in March. Besides getting an opportunity to perform in front of an audience, participants also get to improve their communication, articulation and interpersonal skills.
