Description
An intimate salon for lovers of Flamenco. Adventurous, daring, new solo works connecting with the pulse of what’s piping-hot in Europe. The artists share a philosophy of practice that has not been articulated anywhere in Australia. Stay for an artist’s talk and vintage film exclusive to this inaugural event.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Annalouise Paul (Sydney) trained in flamenco and contemporary dance at Laban Centre, she creates choreographic works that explore identity and transformation through the intersections of traditional and contemporary forms. Tomas Arroquero trained in flamenco and is a research graduate of dance at the VCA, Melbourne, interested in exploring flamenco through contemporary perspectives.
