SAGE Athena SWAN Focus Group: Organisational Culture (GATTON)

All staff, including casuals, are invited to participate in a focus group discussion to contribute to the development of the University’s SAGE Pilot of Athena SWAN action plan. People of all genders are encouraged to participate.

The organisational culture focus group will cover topics such as:

• how you would describe the culture in your particular discipline;
• factors that have led to these perceptions;
• how gender influences an academic’s experience of the workplace culture;
• your perceptions of UQ’s broader culture and factors influencing this perception;
• gender impact on the distribution of workload within your work area;
• UQ’s level of support for staff with caring responsibilities; and
• ideas to improve the organisational culture in your area and UQ more broadly.

The small-group format focus group discussion will encourage respectful discussions across a broad range of views.
