Event description

Description

Join us for a night of art, stories and performance to celebrate the launch of AGA's first zine.......
SAGA - Stories of AGA.

The members of AGA have created a zine and named it SAGA to share stories and art. This zine project has been in the making for nearly three months and we are thrilled to be launching our zine during Spring Out.

This zine is an opportunity for our members to tell their own stories in their own words, using their own art and we think this is 'cause for celebration!

You will be able to grab a copy of SAGA at the launch. We will have black and white copies available for a gold coin donation. Full colour copies will cost $10

AGA works with the intersex, trans and gender diverse community. This includes intersex people, transsexuals, transgender people, cross-dressers and other gender variant or gender non-conforming people. AGA acknowledges the important role that partners, family members and allies play and these people are specifically welcomed to the launch of SAGA.

This is event is happening as a part of the Canberra Spring Out Festival happening in Canberrra. To find out about other Spring Out events visit the website: https://www.springout.com.au/

We acknowledge our event takes place on the stolen land of the Ngunawal people of the Ngunawal Nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and future.

A zine is a self published magazine in which a particular group or individual can showcase their ideas, stories, and art. The creation and publication of zines is usually motivated by a desire for self expression not profit.
