This Mental Health First Aid workshop is offered over 2 days and is designed to de-stigmatise mental health issues which are prevalent in our society. It also aims to raise general awareness and empower participants with the capability to identify and manage mental health and wellness within the work place.
This workshop covers a range of mental health conditions affecting Australian workplaces, crisis situations which may arise and early intervention strategies including:
- Mental health first aid application
- Substance Misuse
- Occupational Stress
Education of the common signs and symptoms is provided and what to do if these conditions are affecting you or your employees. We will explore options for seeking assistance and where to find the most appropriate resources for help. A review of your organisation’s existing internal support resources will be examined and opportunities for future interventions explored.
