Come and get crafty with First Nations artists in the Arts and Ecology Centre

Do you have crafty kids who love nature?

We’re delighted to invite you on Wednesday, 17th December to the Arts and Ecology Centre for an fun morning of activities that celebrate the rhythms of nature and the beauty of the summer festive season on the Sunshine Coast.

Connect with culture, creativity, and community alongside talented First Nations artists:

Print and paint festive decorations with Renee Mead from Murri Girl Designs
🌿 Craft a stunning native botanical wreath with Nadine McDonald-Dowd from Blak Botanics
🎨 Shape your own clay creation guided by Cholena Hughes from Cholena Hughes Art

This is a beautiful opportunity to learn craft techniques, share stories, and create meaningful pieces to take home or gift to loved-ones.

Suitable for ages 5 - 17yrs.

All activities will be in the Arts and Ecology Centre, in the upper part of the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden. Registration costs $10 per child - choose ticketing options from:

Session 1: 9am - 10.30am

Session 2: 10.30am - 12pm
