Sacred Connection Circles ~ for under 25 year olds
Event Information
About this Event
Sacred Connection Circles have been an offering for our community since last September. The circles have grown & evolved over this time, each circle has held it's own unique form & magic, impacted by the blend of people and the practices we have explored together. They are deep, expansive and healing sacred spaces, in which beautiful connections are formed & cultivated.
This event will be our first Sacred Connection Circle specifically for Under 25 year olds. The inspiration for this circle came in our recent Sacred Sister Circle for young women, in which the women expressed their yearning to share this sacred space with their brothers, knowing how powerful it would be to come together in circle to experience safety, reform trust & to receive guidance & support with the challenges that young people face as they come of age.
Our intention for Sacred Connection Circles is to establish mutual trust, increase awareness, gain understanding, recognise patterns & heal relational wounds - by dispelling myths and misperceptions through open, authentic sharing, honest reflections and addressing taboo topics.
This is an effort to cleanse the space in between, to speak to the unspoken. The power of both being witnessed and holding space, creates new foundations for safety. We will co-create this safe holding by reaching beyond blame, projection, disconnect & perpetual wounding and practice deep listening, conscious communication, a strong empathic presence & refrain from personalising another person's experience. Meeting each other in vulnerability and sharing deeply, without the overriding fear of being misunderstood, shamed or rejected. Creating new channels of communication and connection for the greater good of all.
What to expect?
The theme for this event is: Coming Together. We will share in open discussions and together, normalise conversations around the prevailing themes that young people encounter. We will also share in practices that are created to increase self-awareness and cultivate connection, compassion & acceptance.
We will also share in a beautiful, heart-warming intimacy practice together which involves being in a state of complete receiving of loving touch & nourishment.
