INVITATION

Chancellor and Dean, His Grace Bishop Associate Professor Suriel, warmly invites students, alumni, parishioners and friends to join the SAC community at the 2018 Lenten Day Retreat. The SAC family looks forward to welcoming you to our annual retreat which will leave you refreshed, renewed and equipped with new tools to make a mark as a Christian in the world.

ABOUT THE RETREAT

The retreat will be held on Saturday MARCH 10 at the Donvale Campus. This is a unique opportunity for the community to come together to pray, reflect, give thanks and grow in our Christian faith. The theme for the 2018 retreat is THE LIFE OF HUMILITY. Presentations by SAC staff will highlight how the virtue of humility is vital to grow in truth, love and holiness. By embracing Christ-like humililty in a new and committed way, we can each reflect Christ's light and love to those we encounter, bringing a message of hope, gentleness, compassion, meekness, kindness and abundant mercy.

12:00pm - 1:00pm Meditation workshop – Fr Daniel Ghabrial

2:00pm - 3:00pm Free time (reading/walking)

3:00pm - 4:00pm Lecture 2

4.00pm Final prayer and departure.

The events costs $20, plus a $1 booking fee, and participants will be provided with breakfast and lunch. Bookings are essential and will be accepted until Wednesday MARCH 7. Places are limited and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
