DIT regularly update their suite of contracts. The latest Managing Contractor contract for DIT building projects is GC21 - Edition 1 (version dated 29 October 2021). DIT also use a version of AS2124-1992 (construct only) and a version of AS4300-1995 (design and construct) for building projects.
To assist builders/contractors better understand the contracts commonly used by DIT, the seminar will include (amongst other matters) a discussion of the contract terms relating to the following:
• Staging of works into Part A and Part B (in GC21)
• Site / latent conditions
• Guaranteed Construction Sum - GCS (in GC21)
• “Open Book” approach (in GC21)
