Event description

Description

Be inspired by teachers and school leaders who are currently working in rural and remote locations. Hear why they say "it's been the best personal and professional decision I have ever made.”

This is a great opportunity for fourth year education students to have all their questions answered about rural and remote teaching.

Pop in sometime throughout the morning and learn more about teaching in schools in these locations.

Who will be there: Teachers and school leaders from rural and remote public schools, representatives from the Department of Education and Employment Services (recruitment, housing and transport), Aboriginal Teaching and Learning and the Institute of Professional Learning.

Seminars will be seated on a first come, first served basis.

For more information visit: education.wa.edu.au/careers/expo

Please note: The Department will be documenting the expo through video and photography. These photographs and videos will be used for the purpose of promoting teaching in rural and remote schools and may be used on our website, social media sites and printed materials. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed please let one of our staff members know.
