COMMUNITY GROUPS EVENT TRAINING
Come and join other community members to learn about the important aspects of planning and coordinating events in Latrobe City.
Topics to be covered include:
- What to consider before deciding to hold an event
- Understanding new event permits and what's required
- Insurance and eligibility
- Minimising risk
- Venue selection and suitability
- Food and drink considerations
- How can Latrobe City help you?
Location: Nambur Wariga Room, Latrobe City Headquarters, 141 Commercial Road, Morwell
Time: 1.00 pm – 3.00 pm OR 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm
The workshop will be delivered by Wendy Hrynyszyn, Senior Events Officer, Latrobe City Council.
Light afternoon tea/supper will be provided. No cost involved. Places are limited. Online registration is required by Thursday 23 March 2017.
