About this Event
Designed for council staff who are required to initiate and support public notification consultations.
This session will provide participants with knowledge of:
- When to initiate a public notification
- Roles and responsibilities
- Tools and resources to support the process
- Receiving and reviewing responses
A dedicated session for administration professionals will be held on Friday 12 February. This session will focus on the administrative tasks required to support the public notification process.
Audience
- Council Planning Professionals
- Private Certifiers
- Council Administration officers supporting the development application process
- Private Sector Administration officers supporting the development application process
- Any other professionals who need to understand our new system.

Sessions
Run a Public Notification Consultation sessions will be held between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm on the following days:
- Session 1: Friday 15 January
- Session 2: Friday 29 January
- Session 3: Friday 12 February – dedicated session for administration professionals
- Session 4: Friday 26 February
- Session 5: Tuesday 23 March
All sessions are held at the International Visualisation Centre, 19 Young St, Adelaide, with an online streaming option also available.
Each session will cover the same content.
