Event description

Would you like to discover the tools to live a happier life?

The Roy Hill Learning Community, in collaboration with the Thriving Mining Families initiative, are pleased to announce a series of Self Development Workshops across all Roy Hill sites.

These workshops are presented by the Happiness Co, and all Roy Hill employees, contractors and family members are invited to participate.

The Happiness Co deliver self-development workshops to help our people live happier lives. These workshops are about discovering areas within yourself, and your life, that need more time and attention.

The aim of these workshops is to create more awareness around the crossover between your personal and professional life, giving you tools that will not only help at home, but also at work.

Happiness Co work in the space of pre-emptive unhappiness, allowing people to implement strategies to live happier. They're an award winning social enterprise, who use a mixture of storytelling, based on lived experience, and tools to make an impact, not just statistics and awareness.

The self-development workshops highlight where individuals can work on themselves, in order to take a more positive and proactive approach to life.

About Roy Hill’s Thriving Mining Families initiative

The Thriving Mining Families initiative is a series of events that provide Roy Hill employees, and their families, with practical guidance and advice on how to recognise and manage a range of issues that may impact them at any time during their life.

About the Happiness Co:

Nine years ago, Julian Pace lost his father to suicide. While his father was far from happy, his suicide left his family and friends in grief and deep sadness in 2008. Julian Pace decided to create a movement devoted to helping other people through the unhappiness in their lives. To create a tribute to his father and to try and protect other families from the pain he endured.

FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS he has been working with various foundations and companies on awareness, Julian wanted to be proactive and more focused on a solution based model. Happiness Co is designed to support and impact people to better their lives. Julian's commitment and passion and a deep desire to enact real, widespread change. With this Happiness Co was born.

Why? Because people with focus, passion and an inspiring vision can champion THE MOVEMENT THAT CAN change the world. A TRIBE can make a big difference to those people that have found themselves unhappy in life.
