About the Event

The National Youth Science Forum’s Rotary and Alumni evening is an opportunity for NYSF students to meet and network with alumni and rotary members from around the country.

The evening will feature a keynote speech and Q&A with Associate Professor Alison Beavis, in addition to short talks from recent NYSF alumni on their careers to date, and Rotaract about opportunities for young people in their home towns.

The event will conclude with refreshments and time to mingle and network.

This event is open to the public and free of charge.

About the Speaker

Associate Professor Alison Beavis is an NYSF alumna, now the Director of Undergraduate Programs for the Faculty of Science and a Senior Lecturer in the School of Chemistry and Forensic Science at the University of Technology Sydney.

Her research interests include analysis of explosives, chemical warfare agents, firearms and illicit drugs using various analytical techniques.
