Rotary and NYSF Alumni Evening - National Youth Science Forum Session A

About the Event
The National Youth Science Forum’s Rotary and Alumni evening is an opportunity for NYSF students to meet and network with alumni and rotary members from around the country.
The evening will feature a keynote speech and Q&A with Professor Sally-Ann Poulsen, in addition to short talks from recent NYSF alumni on their careers to date, and Rotaract about opportunities for young people in their home towns.
The event will conclude with refreshments and time to mingle and network.
This event is open to the public and free of charge.
About the Speaker
Professor Sally-Ann Poulsen is an NYSF alumna, now Chief Investigator, Chemical Biology, at the Eskitis Institute for Drug Discovery at Griffith University. After receiving her PhD from Griffith University, she obtained postdoctoral positions at Astra Pharmaceuticals Charnwood Medicinal Chemistry department (now AstraZeneca), University of Cambridge and the University of Queensland. She has been awarded an ARC QEII Research Fellowship, Australian Institute of Political Science Young Tall Poppy Award, Australian Academy of Science J G Russell Award and ARC Future Fellowship, among others.
