Event description

Description

Rose pruning workshops will be held at both Old Blythewood and Samson House in July/August. This popular annual event gives you the chance to learn some rose pruning skills and then hone them at National Trust gardens.

Numbers are limited for the rose pruning workshop. If the event sells out (and it is likely to), please feel free to book in for the separate event listing for Garden Maintenance Workshop at Samson House.

Gardening is an ongoing need at our Trust places. If you are interested in helping with the garden join us on the same day as the rose pruning to meet like minded people and make a difference to our significant gardens.

Both workshops will begin with a short talk about the historical significance of the property and end with a restorative afternoon tea. There will also be opportunity to view the two historic houses.

Refer also the separate listing for Rose Pruning Workshop at Old Blythewood and the Garden Maintenance Workshop at Old Blythewood.
