This presentation will concentrate on some popular and not so well known Root crops you can try in your garden.
We'll show you tips on how to successfully grow these crops along with some
cooking ideas.
Radish, turnips, ginger just to name a few and a couple of exotic root crops for you to try
Presentation will run between 1 hour to 1 hour 30 mins depending on Q & A

Native foods have opened a new and exciting menu to Australians, many easy to grow
We'll cover 30 Australian Bush Foods over 3 Workshops (see below for other two).
Wild Australian fruits make excellent jams, condiments, sauces and desserts.
Nuts are used in pies, breads and sweets.
New flavours from the bush are making their way into ice-creams, beverages and spices.
