Join Ben Foley, Special Counsel (Education & Workplace) for a workshop that will provide an in depth analysis of common workplace issues faced in schools. This workshop has been developed specifically for those in the school leadership team who are responsible for the management of the day-to-day workplace challenges.

In this workshop Ben will address in detail:

• Bullying complaints and the Fair Work Act and a review of a recent Fair Work Commission decision involving a bullying complaint at a school.
• Current COVID-19 issues including employer liabilities and a review of a recent unfair dismissal decision in relation to workplace vaccination requirements.
• Sexual harassment and the Fair Work Act and an analysis of a recent workplace sexual harassment decision of the Fair Work Commission.
• Procedural Fairness and the critical steps in the discipline / dismissal process.

This workshop will include plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion among the attendees.
