Ending a tenancy lawfully and gaining possession - Current and future laws

Stacey Holt from Real Estate Excellence will present this study focusing on the ways to lawfully end a tenancy in Queensland and gaining possession.

Ending a tenancy and gaining possession are two separate procedures by law.

We will focus on the law and best practice.

We shall also discuss the new laws for ending a tenancy which have passed but have not yet commenced so property managers are ready for when the laws do begin.

The session will also provide an update regarding the new laws (stage 1 of the review) and provide information regarding stage 2 of future amendments to the RTRA Act.
